This place was beyond delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. Little details were appreciated in the design. Red cream soda on the dispenser was a nice flashback for me and the beer was the perfect temperature. I ordered fried okra and it was awesome. Not sure if it was actually hand breaded or out of a bag fried but it was great either way.
I would strongly STRONGLY suggest the Caveman burger. You will not be disappointed.

I love, love, love R &R and have been eating at the one downtown since they opened and the one in Sandy since they opened. We had dinner at the one in Sandy tonight. Could be an off-night for them, at any rate, it might be some time before we forget tonight's meal. We had naked chicken wings (I've had them before, they were awesome), tonight the fat wasn't rendered out of the skins, so they were like eating greasy, rubbery skins. The meat underneath was cooked fine, but the outsides were awful. I blotted the grease from them the best I could, but still rubbery. The pulled pork was also off tonight. Instead of nice chopped pulled pork, it was watery and rubbery. Looked like ropes of intestines (sorry for the visual). The brisket was fine. But the paper under the meat had way more watery grease on it than normal. Just not up to their usual standards.
In my opinion BBQ meats should stand alone with out sauce the ribs hit this on all 8 cylinders! The brisket was hit and miss most needed sauce, some edge peices had amazing flavor, but way too much fat was on the cuts. I paid for the meat not the fat. The pulled pork needed sauce which they have 4 choices which is nice, but none of them hit it out of the park for me. Also the about half of the serving was fat which made the bottom portion of meat very flavorful, but not worth the trade off of food. The fried okra was very good. As you can see from my pic the Ribs are my choice without a doubt. I plan on coming back before leaving Salt Lake City I will have the ribs, try the smoked sausage, a different side, and the peach cobbler. If I had only tried the ribs I would have given this place 5 stars. Also the staff is super friendly which is always a plus.
